PokéVersus type chart
The game uses the mainline Pokémon matchups, softened: super effective is ×1.3, not very effective ×0.75, and “no effect” is ×0.5. Rows are the type of the attack, columns the type of the defender.

- Blank means ×1. Green cells are super effective, orange are resisted, red means almost no damage (×0.5).
- A dual-type defender multiplies both entries. The result is clamped between ×0.5 and ×1.5, so no matchup is a hard counter.
- A Pokémon attacks with its first type. If that type is Normal and it has a second type, it uses the second (Pidgey attacks as Flying).
- Each move has its own type, and it is the move's type that counts, not the Pokémon's. A Pokémon with two types uses one in its attack and the other in its super.
